This is probably the fifth book nook I have done, and apart from one with actually working and moving motor, this is the second most challenging book nook I have done. But that is the fun of it right? There was only maybe two parts that were deeply frustrating and that was getting the crane to stop falling and getting the actual side pieces to fit among all the other parts and wires. Otherwise, it was one of those fun challenges. This one had a lot of gluing parts, and it does come with B-7000 glue but if I might make a suggestion, 3-in-1 is a little faster to dry so I personally used that instead. I had zero missing parts and it even comes with extras on some of the pieces that are small of fragile. Everything fit together beautifully once I moved some wires around. The manual is pretty easy to follow, but having a magnifying glass on hand might be something I highly suggest as some of the writing or placement arrows are really hard to see.Honestly though, I was absolutely blown away, especially when I turned it on for the first time to test it and saw the infinity mirror effect! Stunning! The materials feel super quality made, and I did not have a single piece break! There is a mix of wood and plastic. I love this, it really almost gives outer wilds vibes and that makes me deeply happy. Huge fan of this, this company spares no detail and makes it really fun to put together a beautiful and incredibly detailed book nook.
I definitely enjoy miniature builds and puzzles, plus I have always been attracted to things related to outer space. This space themed book nook build was hard to resist. I love all the detail in this build, you spend a time taking it all in, which makes the finished piece even more enjoyable. The lighting adds a terrific touch, especially since it is touch operated.Everything arrived in good condition and appears to be very well made. The instructions seem clear and straightforward, with helpful notes pointing out areas that require extra attention. I did an initial test of the lights in this build prior to starting. There is also, an adorable astronaut figure included. I would recommend this kit for teens and up due to the level of detail involved.The price is where I would expect for this level of a detail build. Overall, I recommend this kit not only for the fun of building it. Definitely a project that you should take your time in enjoying the process
